How to Make Garlic Bread

Posted by ThePurpleBunny at 9:58 PM
We all have different taste preferences when it comes to bread and I am one of those who don’t care if their breaths go unpleasant as long as they enjoy even just a slice of garlic bread.

I have tried making the simplest home-made garlic bread and here’s what I did, just in case you want to try it too:

1. Prepare the ingredients. I opted to use french bread, salt, garlic powder, black pepper and butter only, but you have other alternatives or you may add other ingredients like parsley and oregano. You may also choose to crush garlic cloves instead of using the garlic powder.

2. Mix all the ingredients. I used one stick of butter, 1/8 tbsp of garlic powder, 1/8 tbsp of black pepper and 2 pints of salt. You can taste the mixture and see if it satisfies your taste buds, and if not, you can add some more of what it asks for.

3. Slice the french bread. I chose to cut the bread sideways but diagonally. It makes each slice appear longer and gives each slice more of the crispy edges. Remember not to fully cut the slices because it makes the application of the mixture easier.

4. Apply the mixture in between each slice.

5. Heat. I wrapped the bread with foil and heated it in a microwave oven for 15 minutes.

I hope this simple step-by-step guide helped you make your very own garlic bread. Thank you. :)
